Trying this again!!

So here I am again after a break of not blogging.  I'm going to try and retrain myself to get back into it.  It hopefully will make it easier for me to look back on my posts to catch up on my project life.  I'm a little behind!  As time goes by you tend to forget the small little details of everyday life and I'm hoping this will help me out.  I want to document the everyday life before Kenzie is off and married!  So here goes!

First of all I would like to thank all the Veteran's out there who fought for our freedom.  Without them our country wouldn't be what it is today.  Yesterday Kenzie and I marched in the Memorial Day parade here.  So glad it wasn't hot like last year when there were kids passing out from the heat.  I'm so proud of Kenzie.  She's so good at what she does being a color guard.  Can you tell in the picture below!!

Such a proud Momma!  She marched even though she's been sick the last couple of days.  Not the best way to spend the nice long weekend.  After the parade was over Brent took us out for supper.  We headed up the hill to Panera.  I just wanted something good to eat that we didn't have to spend a ton of money on.  We had a few good laughs.  I think Kenz and I were just beyond exhaustion!!  She was doing impressions of how animals eat their food. It's a video that we like on YouTube.  Very funny!  Then it was home to just spend some time together.  I love that she'll still hang out with us!
